When a loved one is facing serious illness, caregivers who are navigating through the complexities and challenges of everyday life often feel overwhelmed. Talbot Hospice’s Caregivers Support group offers support to those who feel burdened and isolated. Participants gather together to share information, experiences, and resources related to providing care.
Taking care of oneself in this process is of great importance; information is provided by the facilitator, and group members share useful tips.

“Coming to the Caregiver’s Support Group was probably one of the best things I could have done in taking care of my father while he was ill. The support, resources and comforting care of people going through similar situations made the difference between hope and despair. More importantly, it brought quality of life and tender moments to the time I shared with my dad.”
